Izzy is currently a senior in High School and planning to major in biology in college with the hope of becoming a physician assistant (PA).

“I’m pursing PA because I love biology, people and more importantly helping people live better lives. A lot of the people I grew up with don’t even consider college as an outlet, so I want to show countless other first generation Americans, and most importantly my little brothers , who I love dearly and how look up to me, that they can do anything they put their mind to and to strive the best that they can be. For me this grant guaranteed my admission to Stony Brook. This grant opened a door of hope for me, that I’m not alone, that I can seek scholarships to aid me in my educational endeavor. And thanks to your scholarship I was even able to convince my father the benefits outweigh the cost so I am now going to my first choice for college.”
