Jordan is currently taking her prerequisites before she applies to her college’s dental hygiene program in 2024. “I choose the dental hygiene program for two main reasons- to learn more about oral health so I can teach others and to learn more about the long lasting effects on the rest of your body if not maintained properly. I have seen small tumors in the jaw go unnoticed and it’s caused the jaw to break and new reconstruction in a young female. I want to spread awareness that straight teeth are more than just for a pretty smile and help others from experiencing that misery.

This grant helps me tremendously. My parents have been helping so me so I couldn’t wait to tell them about this grant and that my next term will be paid! I feel a weight lifted off my shoulders as I feel finally like I won’t drowning in bills. To some it may not be much, but to me, you’ve helped me move closer to my goal and I couldn’t be more thankful.”
