Dylan is studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. “I want to either go into research or go into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
I hope that I can work on projects that may bring beneficial biotechnology or pharmaceuticals to life that can help certain problems that people face every day. I think I ultimately want to help others because I genuinely enjoy it, but I also feel that so many people in my life have helped me get to where I am today that I want to help others in the same way.
Getting this grant, outside the obvious benefits, has shown me that things in life ultimately work out the way they should, which has meant a lot to me. It either will allow me to go and directly do those things or I will use it to pay tuition now and do those things later. Either way, it will allow me to find what I specifically want to do in the future alongside the financial pressure it lifts off my shoulders.”
