As a retired Marine Corps Veteran, I had the opportunity to have amazing role models to look to and I value the opportunity to be that for others looking to work in the field of service and care of all living beings.

Now that I have retired from the military, I have the ability, time and freedom to focus on my second career as a Zoologist. I chose this career path to help both animals and those who love them. While in the presence of animals I am at ease, at my happiest and my disabilities seem to cease, hence why I feel so fortunate that I love what I do for the animals and the joy it brings to their owners and me.”
