Gabrielle plans to return to school to get her Master’s degree in Social Work. “The majority of my career has been spent working with immigrants and refugees in and out of school to help them with language skills, navigating systems, connecting to resources and building academic and career skills. I am at a point in my career where I am ready to expand my skills in order to better serve the youth that I work with. I have been doing the type of work that I do for quite some time and I genuinely love it, so going to work for me often just feels like another day and I rarely pay any attention to whether or not I am making a difference. I am so grateful to do a job that I genuinely enjoy, and I feel so lucky in that capacity that I don’t often think about the work that I do as having so great an impact for the clients as well.”
