Victoria is currently getting ready to start at WKCTC for the 2026 school year! She has a dream to go to school for an Associate of Applied Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, in hopes of becoming an ultrasound technician.
“I’ve always wanted to go to school but never was really sure for what. Until, I had gotten pregnant at 15. During my prenatal appointments I had found so much interest in what the ultrasound techs do and everything they see. Not only that, but the reassurance and kindness i was given and shown was amazing.
If i were to make any kind of impact on this world, it would be to be more kind! Everyone doubted me or looked down upon me for having a kid so young. Told me i wouldn’t make it and to give up on college, even certain doctors were negative towards me. I wouldn’t want anyone who came into my workspace to ever feel like that! Just the tiniest compliments or support goes a long way, especially for pregnant women. I want to give people reassurance and relief!“
Victoria plans to use her degree in order to be an ultrasound technician in order to offer reassurance and kindness that was given to her. If you wish to support student like Victoria click the button below to donate and make a difference.
