Milo

Milo wants to use his degree in Planning public policy and Management to help non profits in his quest to make the world a better place.

“Currently, I am in my third year of studying at the University of Oregon with a major in Planning Public Policy and Management with a minor in Spanish. This major came to me at the start of my second year, a couple months after I had lost my father. With this degree, I want to work with nonprofits and help children who grew up in similar situations like me succeed in life.

For a lot of first generation students it feels like some people have already made their expectations of what we will become fueled by negative stereotypes, however I want to help these people realize their true potential. I had people advocate for me and influenced my love for learning and self improvement, my goal in life is to take upon that same role for the next generation.
