Austin is studying hard so that he can go to medical school and use his knowledge to care for others.
“I want to work in the medical field because the feelings that I have helped somebody feel better is one of the most noble pursuits in my mind. I believe that a person’s health is their most important asset, and all parts of the medical field that help contribute to a healthier, happier patient should be celebrated.
I believe that as long as people are willing to fight the good fight and help more people get an education, the world will become a better place. I know that I had grown up with a small town mentality like I said, and moving to a bigger town and associating with a more diverse group of people was the first step for me in tearing down some of the small minded ideas I had been taught growing up.”
