Ashley is studying holistic medicine and nutrition through Ritually Rooted, where she is learning herbal medicine, nutrition, and natural healing practices with the goal of becoming a certified holistic practitioner. She hopes to build a practice that helps people heal from the inside out while creating a life centered on family, faith, and living close to the land. Ashley believes that many people can benefit from understanding how nutrition, herbs, and lifestyle support the body’s natural ability to heal.
For years, Ashley searched for work that truly aligned with who she was, spending a decade pursuing an educational path that never felt like the right fit. Through her own experiences with depression, hormonal challenges, and learning to care for her health naturally, she discovered the calling she had been searching for. That journey gave her a deeper understanding of how physical and emotional wellness are connected and strengthened her desire to help others find hope and healing.
“I want to help people wake up,” Ashley says. “I want to heal people from sicknesses by the medicine provided for us.”
The Trace of Hope grant made it possible for Ashley to enroll in the program she once thought was out of reach, allowing her to begin building the education and business she has envisioned. Receiving the grant made her feel seen and affirmed that she was finally stepping into the purpose she had been searching for. Ashley hopes to help others find lasting wellness by teaching them how to support their bodies through natural healing.
