Rufus is a rising freshman who is about to start attending NYU for mechanical engineering and find solutions to issues others may face.
“As someone who loves machines and the complexity of multiple working parts coming together to perform one main function, I always knew that I should be one who gets behind it all. However, I am also someone who isn’t partial to any specific machine-related purpose. Other STEM kids might agree that Mech-E is a great starting-off point, and that it’d give me time to decide where I should contribute.
The North Star I always chose to follow was one that’d make people remember me as a good person. And I don’t mean it in a sense of becoming famous (I’m a rather private person); even if I made someone feel good or helped someone out at one point, I feel the gradual fulfillment.”
