Connor is a senior majoring in Health Science with a minor in Life Sciences, preparing for a career as a physician assistant specializing in dermatology. After working as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice, he discovered a passion for the field and its ability to help people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin.
For Connor, making a difference begins with helping others feel good about themselves. Having experienced his own journey toward self-confidence, he understands how deeply insecurities can affect someone’s life. He hopes to use his future career to help others overcome those challenges while spreading kindness and positivity, believing that even something as simple as a smile can make a lasting impact.
Pursuing his education has also meant navigating significant financial responsibilities. Despite the higher cost of attending his chosen university, Connor felt confident that the educational opportunities would prepare him for his future. He has taken out student loans each year to continue working toward his goals.
“I truly hope one day that I will be able to give back to this community and help somebody who will be in the same position that I am in today.”
Receiving the October 2026 Trace of Hope Direct-to-Recipient™ grant will help Connor cover essential living expenses, including rent and groceries, easing financial pressure during his final year of college. The support allows him to focus on completing his education while continuing to enjoy the college experience and connections he has built along the way.
Grateful for the generosity behind the grant, Connor hopes to one day extend that same support to another student, continuing the cycle of kindness that has made a difference in his own life.
